Dr. Abhijit Sawant is the Director and Senior Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Vcare Imaging & Diagnostics Centre in Mumbai. With over 17 years of radiology expertise, he is known for his ability to see beyond the surface, identifying complex, invasive conditions that others might overlook. His advanced MSK radiology fellowship in the UK has further refined his skills, enabling him to diagnose challenging musculoskeletal cases with precision, insight, and compassionate care.
His focus extends beyond routine radiology, covering advanced techniques such as high-resolution musculoskeletal MRI, high-resolution MSK ultrasound, and CT-guided core needle biopsy. He is also proficient in ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies, musculoskeletal interventions, ascites and effusion tapping, abscess drainage, and fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC).
